Furniture lift rental with operator in Brussels
When you move and live on an upper floor, some furniture won’t fit through the stairs or the building’s lift, or risks being damaged. The furniture lift (ladder lift) brings it in or out directly through a window or balcony, safely.
Our lift
Ôlift.be provides a Klaas furniture lift with a 29-metre ladder, serving the 1st to the 9th floor depending on the façade and the street. It always comes with its operator, trained to drive and operate it: you don’t need to know how to drive the machine.
When to use the lift?
- narrow stairs or a building lift that is too small;
- bulky or heavy furniture: sofas, wardrobes, appliances…;
- fragile items you don’t want to risk on the stairs;
- works and renovations: lifting materials, removing bulky waste;
- professionals: roofing, window frames, solar panels, office furniture.
Preparing the job
- Parking permit: a space must be reserved with your municipality to set up the lift (and, where applicable, the transport vehicle).
- Access: the window, balcony or terrace must let your furniture through; check the dimensions.
- Handling: plan for people to load the lift platform and unload it; if needed, we can organise this with our partners.
- Safety: flammable liquids and dangerous goods cannot be carried on the platform, and the lift’s maximum load must be respected.
Prices
The lift service is charged by the hour, operator and insurance included, depending on the floor: from €65 excl. VAT, i.e. €78.65 incl. VAT, for the 1st to 5th floor to €110 excl. VAT, i.e. €133.10 incl. VAT, for the 9th floor, Monday to Saturday in Brussels. See the full price list. The final price is given in a free, no-obligation written quote.
